If We Won A Million Dollars

I have pondered on the blog about winning it big before. I think everyone dreams about what it would be like to win the lottery or some huge sweepstakes and rake in the cash. Special thanks to Publishers Clearing House for sponsoring today’s discussion.

Being Christians, I would first and foremost want to serve God. There is the usual 10% that we give, but then the money would give me an opportunity to participate in mission trips and community service projects. I love volunteer work.

That is why another big dream is to help homeless animals by either opening a no-kill animal shelter or start a non-profit supporting shelters already doing great work.

There are the usual expenses, a house, a new car, fancy furnishings…but that really isn’t my style anymore. I love our house, and would instead want to fix it up and finish it exactly the way I have it laid out in my mind. Add a 5th bedroom {for guests}, a large family room and home office addition, hardwood floors, update the kitchen, skylights etc etc. As for a car, I would love to go green and get one of those sweet new all electric ones like the Nissan Leaf.

We would continue to be a frugal family. Coupons and frugal living are who we are. Money stretches a lot further that way.

So how about a chance at a million dollars? Check this out:
